What is CASEDOK Walker?
CASEDOK Walker is a very useful encyclopedia tool to inspect AllFusion Gen
model data. It helps developers to encrease their understanding
of the AllFusion Gen metamodel and supports them in building sophisticated
reports with CASEDOK Developer. Walker is also very helpful to locate
missing information in corrupt encyclopedias.
Easy navigation
CASEDOK Walker allows easy navigation around in a model supplying
clear information in a hierarchical tree view. To start the navigation,
a AllFusion Gen model and an entry object type must be selected. All
object occurrences of this type are displayed as root nodes in the
tree view. From the root objects, associated objects and property
information can be found by expanding a tree node. To keep the overall
view, only the selected node is expanded.

Each object is identified by the mnemonic name, the object ID and
the name (if available). Associations are shown with their direction
and cardinality information. Properties are displayed with their
name and mnemonic. CASEDOK Walker only shows existing information.
For example, if an entity has no attributes, the corresponding association
is not displayed. This makes it easier to find the required information
and to locate missing data. At any time the model or the entry point
selection can be changed.

CASEDOK an integrated platform
CASEDOK Walker can be started from any other CASEDOK module such
as CASEDOK Runner or CASEDOK
Developer. Walker helps developers to better understand the
metamodel structure. From the Walker application, walk path information
can be copied and pasted directly into CASEDOK Developer reports.
Several Walker's can be opened at the same time working simultaneously
on the same or different models.
Access control
The CASEDOK software products provide read access to the AllFusion Gen
encyclopedia. There is no danger of data modification.
