Is CASEDOK an application reporting tool?

No, this tool is not for application reporting. CASEDOK is an encyclopedia reporting tool designed to generate high quality documentation in various formats such as Rich Text Format (RTF) for Microsoft Word, WordPerfect or Windows Help or HTML.

What kind of reports does CASEDOK offer?

CASEDOK Runner includes a library of more than 100 different reports covering all project phases from planning, analysis to design and construction.

Does CASEDOK only supports the Central Encyclopedia?

No, CASEDOK Runner is available for all encyclopedia platforms: CE, CSE and local workstation files.

Does CASEDOK use the Public Interface?

No, CASEDOK Runner provides seamless READ access to the AllFusion Gen schema and data tables.

Which version of AllFusion Gen does CASEDOK Runner support?

CASEDOK Runner always supports the latest AllFusion Gen repository version. Of course, older versions are supported as well.

What platforms can CASEDOK Runner run on?

CASEDOK Runner runs on all Windows platforms.

What documentation is provided with the tool?

CASEDOK Runner comes with a User's Guide. All information in the guide is also available as online help.

Can I create my own reports?

Yes, you can create your individual reports with CASEDOK Developer. This powerful workbench gives you access to the full range of encyclopedia objects. Together with a rich set of layout elements such as headers, lists, tables, paragraphs, links a.o. you have a great flexibility to build exactly the documents you want.

What about diagrams?

CASEDOK reports include 3270 screens, GUI windows, Hierarchy diagrams and Action Block diagrams dynamically created based on the encyclopedia data.

Can I browse through in my model directly on the encyclopedia?

Yes, CASEDOK Walker let you browse interactively through your encyclopedia data.  CASEDOK WebExplorer offers an on-line internet/intranet access to the repository data.

How is the pricing model for the CASEDOK products?

CASEDOK Runner, CASEDOK Developer and CASEDOK Walker are licensed 'per workstation'. CASEDOK WebExplorer is licensed 'per encyclopedia'. Volume discounts are available.

Are the CASEDOK products part of AllFusion Gen?

No, the CASEDOK products are not part of the AllFusion Gen software. These products have been built by Deron AG to support AllFusion Gen users in development reporting and model browsing.
